This new, contemporary and eclectic Master Bathroom belongs to both a busy corporate executive and an energetic artist. Part of a major whole house renovation to a traditional, late-1960s home located near the Chattahoochee River, the Bathroom has become a haven for the new Master Suite. Two smaller bedrooms were combined to create the couple's new Bedroom retreat that now comprises a new, large Master Closet (with a custom ProClosets® storage system) and Bedroom Office with custom cabinetry.
The Master Bath's beach-themed styling from the soft grayish-white pebble-like floors, cool, watery blue walls, and rich hardwood cabinetry provide the busy homeowners with a tropical escape. Fixtures, found mostly through on-line retailers, reflect tropical touches with the chandelier's palm tree-like shape and the leaf motif on the tub feet. On trend with current Bedroom/Bathroom paint finishes, the Bathroom ceiling is painted a grayish sky blue that offers a subtle contrast to the aqua shade used on the walls. The subtle tones of the finishes (all in shades of gray and white) pair well with the contrasting paint colors to provide balance and promote relaxed luxury.
