The historic Roswell homeowners' 1,250 square foot basement was basically an unfinished, large storage area with insulated wood beams. This area needed to be finished with plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems to accommodate a craft room, exercise room, family/entertainment area, and bathroom. The clients' requirements included the provision of high end materials, such as stone flooring tiles, Berber® carpet, and trim to match the finishes in their craftsman-style home, while adhering to a moderate renovation budget. We helped the homeowners' navigate the direction of this remodel - custom cabinetry and a wet bar area were vetoed to keep the project under budget; and, we helped to minimize material costs by recommending preferred vendors, many of whom offer regular sales on high-quality items.
We were very pleased with the outcome of this basement project, and the homeowners' currently enjoy a beautiful and inviting family-oriented extension of their main level.
