The homeowner’s all white/dated Kitchen needed to be updated with more current color scheme, better storage, and a more efficient floor plan. The previous Kitchen had no real focal point. With seamless, white finishes running the perimeter of the room (white cabinetry flanked with white countertops, backsplash, and white appliances) the area felt very boxy with bland style. The style of the new Kitchen fits the scheme of the home and feels more like a casual living area with furniture-styled, Knotty Alder cabinetry and granite tops in richly-toned "Tuscany". The new cooktop area creates a beautiful focal point with a dramatic range hood and an interesting mosaic tile backsplash featuring Travertine tumbled stone in "Noche". While the basic footprint of the large, open Kitchen remains intact, more working/prep space was gained by centering the new, mesquite island between the Dacor® cooktop, refrigerator, and sink. - See more at:
